Reading the Associated Press report on ESPN to see what it had to say. http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=282640059&confId=80

First, of all there's this:
"Jonathan Dwyer set a school record with an 88-yard touchdown run," and "Before Dwyer's run, the longest run from scrimmage in Georgia Tech history was an 87-yarder by Bob McCoy against The Citadel in 1948." :eek5: Is this right? I can't imagine that in the fine history of our institution, we never did better than that before. Could one of you statisticians or trivia buffs verify?

Second:
"Defensive end Michael Johnson blocked a field goal, deflected two passes, recovered a fumble and had a fourth-down sack." From the way it reads it sounds like he's steppin' up.

Stepping up is an under statement. The dude was pumped the whole game, jumping up an down, Rockeresque runs to and from the side lines. He was on fire this game. I wonder what he was saying to the kicker before he blocked that FG?
