I snipped this out of our media guide. I knew our roster tilted towards the underclassman but never imagined we were this young.
Wouldn't it also include people who redshirted then had covid year“Freshmen” are actually two groups, last year and this year. Soph are 3rd year, Jr 4th year and Sr 5th year. So still young but not like we have 77 first year guys.
I assume that's the Recruiting Class of 2019 you are referring to. Let's take Jordon Yates and Demetrius Knight as examples.Wouldn't it also include people who redshirted then had covid year

The roster just released has them as follows:
Yates - RS Freshman
Knight - Sophomore
Difference is Yates redshirted in 2019, Knight played in 2019. so I call Yates a 3rd year freshman and Knight a 3rd yr Soph
Doesn't really matter. With early departures to the NFL and the portal, team age can flip substantially from year to year.
But I bet we win the Coastal with 77 seniors.gonna need to, that 77 isn't so talented that we would want them to be 77 seniors in 3 years, wouldn't have any scholarships left to speak of
I read the roster and didn’t see that many walk-ons. I think the covid thing has tilted things but a senior is a senior and we only have 12.I assume a lot of the 77 are walk-ons who will eventually drop off.
Hopefully we win the B1G ACC with 77 seniors. But I bet we win the Coastal with 77 seniors.
That's 126 players on roster. That would be a bunch of freshmen walkons wouldn't it.I snipped this out of our media guide. I knew our roster tilted towards the underclassman but never imagined we were this young.
MSU is the youngest FBS team according to Mike Leach.
