Seriously. It's a gad dang bison. That is much cooler than some inbred dog.
 
That was funny!! I thought they were just listing the top 10 live mascots, but then Cocky appears.
 
Yeah a bulldog is so interesting and unique. I'm surprised they didn't put a Tiger at #2, and an eagle at #3...

What better mascot/traditional symbol is there than the Ramblin Wreck and Buzz......I think I puked in my mouth a little when I saw that crap....
 
Well, I am sure that UGA somehow hurdled one of the other mascots, and that's why he really took the top spot...
 
The fact that Mike the Tiger from LSU (although I don't believe they replaced the last one yet) is nowhere to be found is a shame.

Yes, many schools have Tigers as their logo, but LSU actually has a live one. That counts for a lot.

2nd this remark- I actually think the mascots of the service academeies are pretty cool..falcon, mule and a goat!!

A bulldog is not even unique! We're playing 3 fricken bulldog teams this year alone. And the current UGA has only been on the field about 6 times. What a crock!

I thought I read something a while back that the bulldog is the single most over-used mascot among schools in the US.

I take it that that the toolsheds over at Fox Sports mistake lack of creativity for popularity.
