Don't feel bad, I have been caught several times by his eagle eye and bear trap mindOK, glad I can give the old timer an activity.
I was told this morning, about 20 minutes ago, that Arkansas gave away that game. Good God SEC fans. Thank you Virginia Tech!!!Arkansas couldn't steal a victory.

I pretty much got the same story when we beat UGAg. I just said that a game is 60 minutes long. Not 48, not 55, not 59 minutes and 29 seconds....It was a Christmas present. No ACC team has ever beaten an SEC team ever. It just means more.

Did you watch the game. The announcers mentioned the mighty SEC West over and over. My favorite time was when they mentioned that "Arkansas has been pretty terrible in the second half. That's expected against the mighty SEC West, but this isn't explainable."

Right, but when the announcers tried to explain that difference they went right to "Mighty SEC West".I think I mentioned in the bowl thread that Arky was +62 in the first half this season but -63 in the second half. I think they pretty much validated that stat in spades.
And that Virginia Tech was a superior team from one of the top two conferences in the nation. (of course I am talking Big10 and ACC)Right, but when the announcers tried to explain that difference they went right to "Mighty SEC West".
They ignored the obvious causes: conditioning, half-time opponent adjustments, lack of team mental focus, etc.
Thinking about rewatching it when it is available on Youtube. It was a beautiful game.Did you watch the game. The announcers mentioned the mighty SEC West over and over.
