Not really in this case.... The coach should know about something like that, everyone does. It is a huge part of the game.

To be clear, it doesn't in any way affect my opinion of him. It was a pretty classless thing to do though. It really is a big part of the tradition, you hear about it all the time. He should've just stopped the interview for a second.

I agree. It is something that anyone involved in that rivalry should have thought about. IMHO he is not my number one choice, but I will not crucify him for that. Boneheaded move though.
