Also, I had the chilling thought just a minute ago that the outcome of the game could really depend on the officiating crew's interpretation of offensive line holding. Does anybody know if it's the same crew that worked the UVA game?

Not sure about the officiating. Although it should be noted that PJ said that the officiating crew that was at the UVA game was the same crew at the VT game. He said "We won't exactly be exchanging christmas cards this year" of the officiating crew.

That crew has cost us two game IMO. It really kinda sucks.

Well, they didn't help but we did enough on our own to cause those losses.
 
I'm not even suggesting that we were "screwed" by the refs. I was justi curious. Hell, if it's the same crew they might even watch Johnson more closely and be more likely to see it when half of his jersey disappears into some guy's meat-hooks. Anyway, I definitely agree that we can win with or without the "right" refs.
