Mark Bradley has a penchant for getting under my skin more than any other "sports writer" for the AJC. I have to say though that the write up for todays UGA vs Vandy game in the AJC had me snickering quite a bit. From the post article comments, it seems that he struck a nerve with the UGA fans with his last paragraph in the article::laugher:

"Domination isn’t a requirement for winning a championship, but at some point a great team has to prove its greatness. Georgia will have that chance these next two weeks against the past two BCS titlists, but I’m starting to wonder if the team that I believed possessed everything it needed indeed has what it takes. Heck, I’m starting to wonder if Georgia is the best team in Georgia"

On another note, even though it wasn't pretty at times, our boys and our coach did what it took to come away from Death Valley with a win and in my eyes that's a huge accomplishment no matter how good or bad Clemson's team is supposed to be. I was really worried about Nesbit after him not taking a game time snap for almost a month. You have to expect that he's gonna be rusty....and he was, but he also showed why he's the man that needs to be running the offensive ship right now. His intangibles far outweigh his negatives. Our O-line is definitely a work in progress, but I expect them to slowly, but steadily, improve. I'm sorry, but I've drank a whole gallon of the Paul Johnson Kool-aid. We've got us a damn ball coach guys and I've never been more proud of my team than i am right now. We're gonna have some ugly moments, but I can live with that as long as our coaches and players don't quit! So far, I couldn't be more pleased. It's damn good to be a Jacket! What's the Good WORD?

TO HELL WITH GEORGIA!!!!!

I read that article and absolutely loved that last sentence. It's not saying a ton, but 'The Bark' is certainly throwing us a freaking bone(no pun intended) with a comment like that. I like when one of the AJC writers gives the inbreeds a reason to bark, it give me a reason to smile and say THANK GOD ALMIGHTY I'M NOT ONE OF THOSE BUTT SNIFFING SONS OF BITCHES!!!

My hope is that Bark will show up to a presser and ask PJ a dumb question and PJ punches him in the nose and takes his press pass away permanently.

I definitely saw Jeff Schultz on the Tech sideline.

Keep winning and the recognition will come, even from those who seemed firmly entrenched on U[sic]GA's sideline.

You guys don't get Bradley. He intended that article--and that last line-- as motivation for UGa.

He has made similar critical statements about GT in the past, and GT fans got all upset at Bradley. If I was a GT player, I would have been motivated by the criticism, which is the spirit in which Bradley intended it.

I think your right there. Striking to see a quasi-favorable line from Madley though.

Speaking of buttsniffers, anybody else see the kid crying in front of Ugas cage? We were watching the game over at my folk's house, switching back and forth during the wonderfully witty and thought provoking commercial breaks, and they had a shot at the Georgy/Vandy game where somebody had set their little kid down on the ground in front of Uga's cage. Uga had retreated to it's relative comforts, the door was open, and the kid was right in front ballin it's eyes out. It (the child) would turn around and look at Uga and just keep screaming the whole time Uga just sitting there panting and slobbering and looking at the kid. Mutt Abuse!! Good enough for youtube. We got a kick out of it at our house.

GO TECH!
