As the Cesspool Burns

Hopefully they are just another fart or scandal from the wheels coming off over in the cesspool. The stuff is starting to add up and fans are getting restless. There is sniping going on amongst fans, players and coaches. Let’s get our list:
- driving issues and high profile death case complete with law suit against school and school blaming dead girl
- paying Carson Beck enough money for him to buy a Lamborghini and then proceed to suck
- ongoing arrest and behavior issues
- my personal favorite - some bench player jumping around and celebrating the Ole Miss loss while in uniform and Kirby calling him an idiot in a press conference.
 
Seems a bit excessive on Kirby’s part. This isn’t quite Gundy-level, but I don’t think it sends the best message to publicly insult your kids like that.
 
A young guy and big mutt fan in the SS class I teach for young adults, said that, although he will still cheer for the mutts, he is sick of all the crap that has been going on there. He then went on to say that he would be happy to wear a Tech shirt if he ever went to a Tech game. So I took the bait and invited him to come with me next Thursday, and he accepted the invitation. I ordered a ticket for him this morning near to my seats, so he will be coming to his first Tech game next Thursday. It remains to be seen whether he even has a Tech shirt to wear, so I think I will bring an extra one I have just in case.
I told him this morning that I got the ticket and said this is "the beginning of his conversion process." LOL

I mean, let's not be unfair here.

Its not like the guy shoved the Ole Miss QB when he was several feet out of bounds long after the whistle blew to end the play.

Maybe he was excite that he wouldn’t have to play and practice under Kurbs an extra 6-8 weeks

I read that they were childhood friends who reunited, still not a great look but not deserving of being clled an idiot by your coach either...
