ASU column making fun of UGAg

Now, most of us know that the louts who do this sort of thing represent only a small segment of UGA fandom. Many of them aren’t alums or students, don’t even have a ticket for the game and just show up to get blitzed.

I like how he says that they don't represent UGA fandom, then describes the majority of UGA fandom...
 
I went down there for the South Carolina game -free to me and I didn't even have to drive. I saw quite a few folks wizzing on the side of buildings. None of the foilage was thick enough to hide those folks, they were just drunk rednecks. My UGAg fan hosts were embarrassed by it, but I said nothing since I was their guest. The entire day really wasn't a pleasant experience.

I'd suppose the only other scene that I have ever been involved in that was as bad was spring break of 1985 in Ft Lauderdale - the last year that Lauderdale welcomed spring breakers. That place was destroyed at the end of the week. UGAg looked similar. Definitely didn't look like a "Classic City".
 
Oh I've been there as well and it's a joke. Walking thru after a game there is like walking thru the county dump. No I don't walk thru the dump but have taken a load of trash there a few times.
The Law library is open for bathrooms and guys are in there pissing in the sinks and girls puking, the Law lawn looks the same way after a big game.

The university actually puts trash cans on these lawns but most are either full within an hour or not used.

Those folks over there think it's all a God given right to them and they'll do as they please with their big money donations.

Yes, it was a small minority of people who crated 70 TONS of trash. They are ruining it for everyone else. :rolleyes:

In '96 when my family had just moved to Georgia I went to a ugay game with my dad (I didn't know better at the time) and I could not believe how much garbage people left on campus. I remember having to high step the beer cans just to get into the stadium.

Sadly, UGA is going to kick the crap out of ASU and this garbage **** won't make any difference. I'm starting to worry that Joe Cox is good and that UGA will make a run at the SEC. If lightning strikes and they beat UF, they're a big threat. Same old **** every year. :mad:

They won't beat Florida, their defense is a clunker.

I have never seen so many people go to a staduim and not have tickets and just sit in parking lots during the game. I mean these guys have the trailers with TV's and everything. And it's not the small part of the fan base, please drive around during this hellfest, It's the majority!
