No big surprises.

I will say this: before this season there was a lot of chatter about how weak we were at linebacker. But for much of the UNC and Clemson performances we only had 1 of the 6 listed names on the field at DT, and 3 of the 5 listed names at 'backer. It doesn't look like we've made the 3-3-5 adjustment by pulling any rush ends back, but are instead riding on the backs of Quez, Charlie, and Eley. We'd best hope they don't get hurt because we're going to need them a lot in the next 11 games.

Our Dline is so young, they are going to be scary good in a couple of years.

I assume Clayton is either hurt or off the team??

Couple of years?

You mean next year?

We got 2 more big inside guys coming in next yr.

Horace Lockett (4Star #36 overall in Ga) from Westlake(Atl.) is 6-6 325lbs and another DL is from SFla and he's 6-2 320lbs, those 2 plus Biggers and Scott will give us a nice rotation of inside DLs.

This ain't GT FB of old, this is GT FB as if Nick Saban was building the Roster.

Good times are on the horizon!

I almost forgot, if you look at the Players that are ATL at both DE spots, they all played vs UNC

We played all 7 of our ATL DEs when the Game was still in question vs UNC, meaning the Coaches have faith in our Depth this year , and at some positions we are able to withstand injuries and getting worn down by up tempo teams.

I think being able to go almost 4 deep at both DE spots shows that CGC knows what he is doing, and just maybe the personal attacks calling him a used car salesman, etc should cease.

Who would've thought that we could go 4 deep at éach DE spot without Clayton and Keion White, 2 Players that are supposed to have NFL Potential?

Even during successful GT seasons in the last 40 years we never had that kind of depth.

These are the things that our Fans should be looking at when judging CGC instead of comments in Press Conferences.

One of the beauties of our de's is that each brings something to the table and each provide different blocking challenges for the offense.

That allows you to mix them up to prevent the OL from settling in, and allows you to ride a hot horse that the matchup totally favors for us.

The depth being built on the defensive side of the ball is really incredible. If we’re going to be playing a 3-3-5 moving forward, LB is the only place that still needs to be built out a bit. Adding Willis and Efford in the 2022 class is really going to push us over the edge there. Good times ahead!

And Willis is one of those "positionless" players any defense needs these days in their linebacker corp. IOW, someone who can slide over to the slot without disrupting the back end.

The beatings will continue until morale improves...

Seriously though, if we win a "Chanesque" 7 games this year, I will most certainly defer name-calling.
