Great move...but is that stuff staged? I have never seen a gladiator fight.

It looked like the other guy (Turbo whatever) bent down...then moved his head further down to avoid the contact when he saw he needed more instead of raising up and clipping him?...he then turned around to watch as he walked forward....completely unlike someone who missed a tackle.
 
The original show was so badass. Should've never even tried to bring it back.

No way, the new one is so mind numbingly terrible, that it almost does the original justice. Granted, I don't like the new look much. But I wanted the X-Men movies to have rainbow spandex as well, instead of the leather motif they opted for. Plus, Crush - tons hotter then any Gladiator before, and she doesn't even need the teased, crimped hair.

My respect for you just dropped a notch. That's like admitting that you paid to go see Harry Met Sally when it came out into the movie theatre. Some things are better left unsaid.

Nah. If you were in elementary/middle school when that show came out you would have thought it was great too.

I'm thinking the same thing after watching it a second time.
 
No, it is legal for the ball carrier to hurdle an opponent.

Rule 9-1-2-j forbids "hurdling", yes, but makes an exception for the runner.
