Couple of my thoughts about the game and other stuff...
1. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
2. Byrd Stadium is a nice place, as is College Park. UMd Fans overall were hospitable, with just a couple exceptions (ie. the 'you suck' chant).
3. Bilbo's long bomb while he was getting hit was right on target, just the UMd DB played great D, as they did all night.
4. During fumble recovery that UMd ran back for a touchdown, the player stepped out of bounds, but the ref got leveled, and missed it. But UMd would have had it at the 8 or so, with 1st and goal.
5. I love college football, I love the Jackets, no way I will ever miss a home game and I will go to as many away games as possible. Only 3 home games left, 5 (or 6) total. Live it up.

7. After the game, drove to Penn State and stayed with some friends up there for the weekend. State College is a GREAT college town. I don't think there is anything within 300 miles of it, and PSU has something like 40k students, so it's no wonder they get 109k for games.
8. Went to the PSU-Northwestern game on Saturday. Pretty good atmosphere, not great. It being cold, windy, and raining probably didn't help. After going to the GT-UMd game is those same conditions, I need about a week in a hot tub.
9. PSU went 5-7 in 2000 and 5-6 is 2001, somehow they survived.
10. I'm looking forward to a packed house at BDS@HGF on Saturday. Get there early and be loud when Tech is on D.
