First, I am anxious to see how our great kids react to such a week of adversity. They are in Bastogne and surrounded. They will fight just as hard.
Two, could Homer perhaps fill in as temporary AD? If DB goes, does that have any impact on the appeal? Will they think we are at least being doubly proactive to correct problems?
Third, the "never on probation", perhaps holier than thou attitude, academics brought up everytime we lose a game excuse by someone be a positive if we allow it? Because like it or not, we are now, in ways, like some of those we have detested. So I hope some of our performance shortcomings will allow us to ignore others problems and start doing what we should be doing.
We, like everyone, have made a mistake. So let us get on with better recruiting and coaching and focus on winning games which, I thought, was why we were playing.
