Just a counterpoint to some arguments I've seen that everyone suffers a bad loss or two in a given season.
Sure, we can chalk up about two or three bad losses a year at Tech where we underperform. But, there's a distinction to make -- those losses mentioned during the O'leary regime (or at other times) were not blowout losses of the magnitude of GETTING BEAT BY DUKE BY 24. I can understand blowout losses to FSU (top 10 teams), but when you're completely dominated by a team with a 30-game conference loss mark, you GROSSLY UNDERPERFORMED.
I don't believe you call for heads. I fully back the coaches and players and will scream my head off Saturday. Let's see how they finish, they have earned that with the 5 quality games they've played (FSU, not the Vandy game).
But, I believe there is concern about a pattern of 4 games in Chan's 1st two years where the team didn't show up at all. Bad performance is one thing -- not showing up at all is indefensible.
