WOW, over 92,000 for an A-Day game in Tuscaloosa. What can you say about those fans in Bama Nation???? :laugher:
 
Guess they knew this was a game that Bama would win:D :D :D :D

I watched part of this on TV, so unless the lower deck of B-D Stadium holds 92K, there weren't that many there. I thought I heard around 50K on the broadcast.
 
I saw the news replay and noticed the upper deck packed, looked like a full house to me - would be nice if we had that kind of support!
 
They had nothing else to do since it's not hunting season, and the race wasn't until Sat. night.:biggthumpup:
 
Yeah, I saw this too on Sportscenter after I posted. It certainly wasn't the number they said on FSN when I was watching, and the section I saw of the upper deck was not full. But apparently their stadium can hold that many with a few sections empty. Anyway, sorry again for the misstatement.
 
Perhaps the number counted everybody who went in the stadium. I could see some people, particularly students, coming and going during the game.
 
They said they had to start turning people away midway through the first half, so I think a lot of people were showing up late, too.
 
Those Bama fans kill me. I don't know if there were 92,000 or not, but whatever the number, it was a lot more than they've ever had. Just typical bandwagon Bama fans. I live in Alabama so I have to deal with this crap 365/ 24-7. They act like Saban's already won a couple of titles for alabama. Even the media, they all kiss this guy's ass. The local media are so pathetic around here about the "Mighty Alabama Crimson Tide". Let me tell u something folks, Alabama has become an average football program. Period. Dress it up any way u want, "Well, we've had a couple of bad coaches" "We've been rebuilding" "Bear Bryant's shinin down on us" ............Get over it Tide fans, it's not the old glory days anymore, with recruiting the way it is now, especially w/ Tuberville winning the recruiting war in-state, you're not the powerhouse that u fans think u are. ---- How many games has N.Saban won at Alabama? 0 How many games did Alabama win last year? 6? i think. How many games did the Dolphins win last year? don't know but it wasn't enough to make the playoffs. And N.Saban is just gonna walk into Tuscaloosa(where the lying snake said he wasn't going) and be dominant all of a sudden. :biggthumpup: I can't wait to watch those idiots come out of the tunnel and cuss 'em like I always do. Alabama football= what a joke. IMO this whole Saban thing has turned into a friggin carnival, it's a joke factory. I wish that man and that program the absolute worst, and I mean the absolute worst.
 
Sounds like a lot of pent up old hate (which I can understand if you live in AL). My fiancee's dad went to 'Bama in the early 70s, and he talks about the Bear like he's a grandfather or something. Anyway, I'm not trying to mess up your post, but Nick Saban will get the Alabama team turned around. Surely no football team will ever be as dominant as Alabama was in years gone by, but there is no questioning Saban's ability as a college football coach. Do you remember where MSU and LSU were before he took the jobs there? Average. I don't believe in kissing his butt any more than you do, but you've got to admit that he's an excellent motivator of young men aged 18-22.

It's funny u should say that. I guess I should have really masked how i feel, I posted the same post on another site and got kicked off of the website. Not just some Alabama site, this is a national site where we can talk about any team, apparently the board administrator is an avid Alabama fan, so I literally got kicked off of these boards that i've been a member of for 4 years. These bama fans are somethin' else.
