Band Travel

First off, hello my fellow members of ST. Long time reader, first time poster. I'm going into my second year at Tech, majoring in IE. Huge Tech fan, as is everyone else on here I assume. Originally from Orlando.

Anyway, I was bored today and thinking about the upcoming season as usual, specifically the FSU game on Oct 10. I have a sister soon to be a freshman at FSU who will be at the game, as well as my parents. Its their parents' weekend, and I had my dad buy me a ticket with him and my mom. Our seats will be 10 rows up on the FSU side, amid swarms of garnet.

I've had visions of me basking in the boos of those around me as I triumphantly (and drunkenly) belt out Up With the White & Gold and Ramblin' Wreck time and time again as J Diesel, Anthony "A-Train" Allen, and RJ repeatedly expose the 'Noles defenders to the point that they would rather take their chances in prison.

I obviously need the band to be there with me for this to be plausible. All diversions aside, my question is: Which away games will the band be traveling to this season?

The full band will be travelling to Florida State, and we will send a pep band to Vanderbilt and Dook. The travel budget took a huge hit this year.

At least, that is what was communicated to us in early July.

That really sucks that the band can't travel as much. Although, even with simply a pep band, they'll still out number the Duke fans.

Thanks for the info... That really does suck, but at least they'll be at FSU. Of all the away games this season, I'm looking forward to that one the most for obvious reasons. Not to mention all the hotties from my HS I know there.

As for my family, I expect my dad to be nearly as drunk as me. He's a huge college football fan as well, but of South Carolina (his alma mater).

I know Tech fans (myself included) are starved for good looking women, but I would advise you to google "FSU chicks" and save your breath. There will be no pictures of my sister on this thread, despite all the requests to the contrary :laugher:
