Great pitching performance by Connor Thomas in relief against Minnesota!
Extrapolate! How many games does it look like we will win?
All of them.
Damn lost to Bradley 10-7 today.
Bradley was #208 in the RPI last year, so this home loss won't help on that front. Pitching was atrocious. Different year, same team?
Want to see real carnage? Just wait until the ACC part of the schedule arrives. Another sub .500 ACC season is a lock.
Unlike recent teams, this group will not fail to live up to expectations. They are expected to be bad.
Pitiful pitching yesterday vs Bradley. Can't survive with 11 walks.
Down 1-7 going to bottom of 4th vs. uconn.
We fall to UConn 9-7, to lose the opening 'series'.
Bad defense today...
Oh well, it's just three games into the season. We got Georgia Southern next.
So what is the problem with our coaching? Do we have difficulty recognizing talent? Do we have the wrong players in the program? Are we just poorly coached? I just don't understand how our baseball program can struggle being located in a hotbed of baseball talent.
When you get punked by the mighty Bradley to kick off another disappointing Beesball season...
Jackets win 10-0 vs Dartmouth. Curry went 7 scoreless inning giving up 4 singles with 6 strikeouts and no walks. Very good defense with a highlight real catch by freshman Radcliff catching a would be HR over the fence.
Jackets defeat Dartmouth in game 2 by a score of 12-9. Game 3 of the series begins in 45 minutes. 4 Homers for the Jackets today.
18 hits in an 11-5 win to SWEEP the Big Green. That's 4 in a row for the Jackets!
Won 11-5 to sweep series in game 2 today. McCann hit 3 homers!
Chase Murray had 10 hits this series , 8 today.
Scored 33 runs this weekend with 9 home runs and 45 hits! Only one error all weekend.

True. Our basketball or baseball coaches should be able to build a championship caliber team without even leaving the metro area to recruit.
Nice series sweep over Dartmouth. Looking forward to coming to the campus for Tech sports this weekend - some baseball, basketball, softball and tennis.
Enjoyed a three game series that took place up here between ECU and the 6th ranked Tarheels. It was creatively done - at ECU on Friday, with a crowd of 5,382, at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Saturday with 4,508, and a crowd of 2,810 today in Chapel Hill. That’s almost 13,000 watching a weekend series in February. ECU won 2-1 on Friday and 12-0 today. The Tarheels won at the DBAP 5-4.
That would be a fun way for us to do a weekend series with Auburn or even UGA.
