Bbuzzoff NOT down for "Maintenance" again!!

I already have been and know what they have to say. Any group that hopes for Tech to lose for any reason can go shove it up their a$$!

I made my last visit a couple of years ago. I made a post that apparently BeeBad didn't agree with, yet it was just a post of my opinion - nothing antagonistic about it. He deleted it and wouldn't reply when I asked him why. That combined with the pile-on, generally childish manner of the posters on the board with nothing worth hearing concerning the topic of football - make it a rather pointless board.

I'll tell you why: it's because that's what pansy little keyboard commando "tough guys" do. "We're 'no holds barred'!!!! (unless you disagree with us)".

Any Tech "fan" that would pull for Tech to lose is worthless, IMHO.

Any fan that would continue to support a coach who has not elevated this program in the past 6 seasons - seems to me a fan that wants this program to continue to be mediocre!

There a hell of a lot of fans on this board who do that!

Wow - great comeback. Never heard anybody call Gailey "mediocre".

I really feel sorry for anybody who would dedicate so much of their life and their energy to get an athletic coach fired. Really says something about their priorities in life.

BTW, how is getting to the ACC Championship Game not "elevating the program"? Keep spouting your anti-Tech rhetoric, though.

GT ended up unranked at the end of the season. Getting to, and losing, the ACC Championship game was really pretty meaningless. It is shocking that a team with Choice and Calvin could not score a TD against Wake, but the presence of Chan Gailey reduced the shock value.

Keep spouting your version of anti-Tech rhetoric though. Being anti-Hitler did not mean being anti-German.

Don't you just LOVE reading his wisdome concerning GT football. He has been REAL good the past couple of days.

Pointless is a good defining word for that board though. I have gotten to the point where I might read there once a week due to the rehashing and rehashing of the same ole points. Read once a week and you have it for the next 6 days.

Getting to a Championship game is one thing, winning is the main thing!

Losing the last 3 games of last season in '06 is elevation? You must have a different definition of that word than what's in the Webster's dictionary!

Coming into 2007 a veteran laden team and we're struggling to stay above .500 - that is not moving this program forward after 6 seasons!:wow:

Nads? It takes nads to post there? That's funny I thought it only took an account. Those with accounts don't really need nads to post. If you're strongly in favor of Gailey's departure, then you'll be welcomed with open arms. If you're don't want Gailey's head on a platter at all costs, then expect to get banned and read high-fives for flushing out another "FOCer." I've got the "nads" to post over there, but I have no desire to jump through hoops just to end up banned.

beebad still won't answer my email to give me my information to rejoin. I wonder why? I think it's because I'm mediocre.

I guess if you spend your life looking for fault, you can find it everywhere, eh? I wonder if there are people out there that are continuously looking for fault in your job. I'm *sure* they wouldn't find it.

Nice job comparing Gailey to Hitler via analogy. Y'all are really sad.

What was our record last year? What was it the year before? Learn to post facts rather than rhetoric before you post, and you may get people to listen.

Well, since Chan has gotten here they've added the ACC championship game and a twelfth regular season, D-1AA game to the schedule, so if you account for those things our record has pretty much stayed the same throughout his tenure. Five losses...you can't say he's not consistent.

When you have to use "if", things aren't the same.

Okay. Chan Gailey has lost five games every year of his Tech career, never beaten his rival, and none of his teams have ever finished ranked. No ifs, ands, or buts. Just cold, hard consistency. Better?

THIS TREAD REEKS OF MEDIOCRITY.

beej67,
wonders how many buzzoffers realize that they're reading a censored board
