Well, after today I think we can safely say the ACC is not near the worst conference...

1) SEC
2) Big 12
3) Pac 10 (Only because of USC, everyone else is pretty bad)
4) ACC
5) Big East (USF seemed to have some life)
6) Big Ten (What a joke)

Hopefully we won't be the butt of all the jokes anymore. Also, Maryland did help the ACC today.

The number 5 team (and Big 10 number 1 team) is looking as bad or worse than the worst team in the ACC against USC.

Edit: Guess you could argue the ordering of 5 and 6 though.

The BYU / UCLA game was a headscratcher for me. UCLAs win over UT was legitimate (at least I thought) and then they get destroyed by BYU.

BTW, the "running like a caveman" quote was "Doc" Walker. It was nearly brilliant enough to make up for how terrible they were the rest of the broadcast.

Thanks for the info.

NB: UT is not that good, and the SEC as a whole is WAY over rated. It will take a few weeks to shake out, but just like last year, in time it will.

It really did not "shake" out last year. A 2 loss LSU playing an over rated OSU? Should have been USC and someone else. Until we have a playoff, how can anyone be # 1?
