Be realistic and give them a break

New to this post but as a huge GT fan I am also down about how this year is going but I will support them and try to be realistic when I am tempted to get critical. I am not a football genius nor do I have all the inside scoop on why decisions are as they are, just a Tech fan. It sure looks easy from the stands or in front of the tube. What I do know is that these are young men who are giving their best and mistakes do happen. If you think we are down about a game think about the young man who missed a block or a pass or a tackle or a punt return or jumped offside in front of so many. Whether we want to deal with it or not they are kids - from the highly recruited to the walk-on who busted his butt just to be a part of the team. If you want to know about walkons go rent yourself Rudy and take away the hollywood BS and you will still get a glimpse of what these guys are made of. They are not walk-ons they are earn-ons.

Go Jackets and lets turn it around with a win over Clemson.

Geetee, Mike Gundy will press the detonator button on his hip --which is set to blow up your keyboard-- if you don't stop picking on new posters.

Ignore GeeTee...he's a dawg fan in denial.

First of all welcome to the boards.

Secondly, even though we talk about all the things we do and criticize each and every thing that goes on with Tech football, at the end of the day we all go home knowing that everyone out there gave it there all.(this statement may or may not hold true to CCG)

This is simply a place to vent when we lose and celebrate when we win. Nothing said here will have any affect on what actually happens to these players and coaches on the field...we just like to talk about it.

Again, welcome and go jackets!

Well said, sir, and I couldn't agree more...Mike
