Beamer Accuses UGAg of Spying

Have to say I'm shocked that they would give access to people they didn't know before a bowl game, especially when they're practicing five minutes from the site of the game and less than two hours from the home of their opponent. From the sound of that quote, it's like they were actually practicing plays specific to the bowl game and letting anyone see it...doesn't seem very smart, especially not with the high stakes involved in 1A football.
 
Hate so say, but it sounds like excuse making, which I would never expect to hear from a coach like Beamer. VT lost the game after holding a big lead. Tough loss. Learn from it.
 
That could be the stupidest thing I have ever heard. I just lost the tiny bit of respect I had for Beamer.
 
The mistake was ever having any respect for Beamer in the first place. That guy sold his soul a long time ago.
 
I have no doubt they were. But then, I'd guess every other major BCS program does too if teams are having open practices...it's just common sense. That's why I wouldn't think that any team would actually work on real plays/formations in an open practice.
 
Haha. That poll says 47% think that Beamer didn't imply that...what was he trying to say then? Must be 47% UGA fans who don't want to think their team operates in some moral high ground...
