Beamer on Rome

Beamer referred to Boston College as a "very good football team", and also said that it's hard to simulate the triple option for practice because they don't have our personnel for it (coaches and players). Mentioned that TT is becoming confident and that the wide receivers are finally catching the ball. Other than that, it was basically talking about whether they can make it to the BCS Championship and if Bama is the best team in the nation right now.

Yeah I saw it as well. Also thought it was funny where Rome asked Beamer (paraphraisng):

Rome: "How long would you need to prepare for this offense before feeling comfortable against it?"

Beamer: "Oh I guess maybe if we were playing them in a bowl game and had 4 weeks or so to practice maybe....."

Rome: chuckle

Think he is coming on 680 at 5:30, he may be making the rounds to pump up VT's profile to make the MNC game, hopefully this takes away from his prep time.
 
Virginia Tech is so overrated right now. BCS? Virginia Tech will not win the Coastal Division.

Today, Yukon was negative about Virginia Tech and GTKyle was an annoying pain in the ass on Virginia Tech's forum.

We are really pulling out all the stops.

Now, if only Nuff Said would threaten to break his leg off in a Hokie fan's ass we'd have given them our best shot!

Have you seen their remaining schedule? If we don't beat them then they will have to lose a game while favored by double digits. Possible, but not probable.

No Wake, no FSU, no Clemson. (sure Clemsn is in implosion mode but not like NCState and Maryland who are totally beat up at key positions)
