After reviewing many post on here for the last couple of days, do ya'll realize that many of you are NOW in agreement with GeeTee! Despite his realistic fews and publically voicing his opinions in the past, you now are saying many things he's stated over the last month.
1. Poor Bowl Appearances and 2. Poor Coaching! i.e. NCJacket
 
Agree, but do you also notice that after the initial tsunami of rage, many have moved ahead with talking about how to be heard.
I always respected GeeTee's opinion, but he couldn't or wouldn't explain his solution to the problem.
 
And I dont see him here telling you " I TOLD YOU SO " seems he has more class than some of these guys
 
HerBee, you may be right but I think his last post was that he would be away for a while.
Either way, I hope that Thursday will get some rocks moving.
 
PW..I hope you are right but I belive these guys think if they can hide long enough everyone will forget this fiasco and it has worked in the past
 
I think you are 100% dead-on about the bunker mentality ploy being pulled again.
For a while I thought that shutting down any communication was the stance of the entire athletic department, but Paul Hewitt is the exact opposite in this regard.
Maybe that's one of the reasons other than winning that Hewitt is liked so well by the fans. I don't care much for basketball, but I do care for him.

Regarding another letter, I think that's a great idea!

Not that it would likely do much good, I would like to see the StingTalk brother with the best writing skills to be nominated by this board to write a professionally done demand letter to Wayne Clough, representing all StingTalk members that are in consensus for the swift removal of Dave Braine, and for the new AD to have full authority to make whatever coaching changes he sees fit.
This letter should also address the pride we all share in the academic prestige of Tech, but feel that with the right people running athletics, we can achieve greatness in both areas.

This letter could be signed by everyone in support of it, and should be copied to all appropriate media outlets.

I think we have bitched long and hard enough without it being directed properly. I know I have. Is anybody else in support of this?
 
PW..We have our own lawyer on here and I am sure he will write any petition needed Oh hell, he is also hiding now

I am 100% right behind you pocket watch. Voices MUST be heard loud and clear bu Clough. Address the problem now or their could be ramifications. Until a large amount of the fan base and the money people unite and demand changes then nothing will be done and we will further fall as far as football is concerned.
 
I would agree that something needs to be done, but realistically, nothing will! We all would like to see DB out, but it just won't happen! We have serious issues here at GT, and until we all stand up as alumni and fans, continued mediocrity will continue!
 
Nothing major will happen until after next year if then. The new AD can't make a change if he's not hired until the summer, so we'll go into next season with whatever coaching staff Chan wants.

To the original point, I've always criticized what I thought was bad. The coaching staff did a terrible job in the bowl game.

So, these are the brilliant insights you think are now being validated? I guess no one knew the Emerald Bowl sucked until your daddy GeeTee pointed it out?

"This sucks" is not the intellectual property of GeeTee.

If he had come on here and said "The team will be TOTALLY unprepared for Utah, the defense will LAY DOWN and REFUSE TO GET UP, and we will play our worst game since the 51-7 loss to UGA!", then, fine, he would deserve praise for superior insight.
 
It doesn't take superior insight to see that the Chan Gailey regime has gone at least a year if not more past its prime. Anything else is just talk.
