he had some big time drops that could have changed the game early.

The int and fumble were big mental errors but I thought he was more accurate today, but we went away from the pass b/c our D was so strong.

Have to agree with knox here; Bennett is just not that good.

And can we please throw those bullsh!t Godsey comparisons out the window? Hopefully we are still not that delusional after watching today's game.

We need to face the hard truth that our QB is not very good and is likely not to get much better.

I thought the INT looked like a ball he tried to throw away. Good play by the Clemson DB to get that ball though. Seriously, that was a better play than we've gotten from our WRs all year.

If by 'OK', you really mean a barely servicable div 1 QB then I would agree. He is not making huge mistakes but he is not making any plays either, and we can't sustain drives.

I just rewatched the game and Taylor does in fact look more comfortable today, he made some pretty good reads and made some nice audibles, they only threw the ball 15 times, he completed 7 and should of been 11. There was 4 huge drops really easy obvious ones where he placed the ball perfectly. He really didnt play a bad game, he made one really bad choice where he threw into that crowd in the endzone.

Taylor didn't do anything spectacular, but today he threw some really nice balls that the receivers just dropped. I'm not sure what you wanted him to do better, since we didn't throw it much and the WRs couldn't catch?

Bennett should be succeeding in spite of drops. All QBs have to deal with their WRs dropping balls.

7/15 for 67 yards, 1 INT, 0 TD. Who does that remind you of?

He only threw 15 times, 4 big drops, 2 would of been for over 15 yards each. He also looked comfortable if you watch the game you notice he steps up in the pocket, audibles out of plays, and actually made some good reads. There's more to it then just stats.

4/15 passes were complete drops. How many QBs out there have their WRs drop nearly one third of the passes attempted?

There was also a play early in the game that he threw long to a receiver that was on target. Our receiver had the DB beat but the DB reached out and grab our receivers right shoulder pad and turned him a little. I thought it should have been pass interferece, but no call.

Half of us incompletions may have been drops, but half of his completions were for two yards.

Here's the deal. How many of you have any confidence whatsoever that Taylor Bennett could lead a game winning drive in which we had to pass?

I don't have confidence and a part of that is due to our ineffective O-line when it comes to ball control.

Taylor Bennett is very, very Reggie Ball like in his ability. The only meaningful difference is that he doesn't (yet) freak out under pressure.

I thought it was funny how Chan stuck Nesbitt in there to try and garner some offense, then was like WHOOPS, FORGET THAT SH*T when he fumbled his second snap. Add that to the pile of "I haven't seen anything from Nesbitt yet" plays.

We were lucky to beat Clemson this year. Our special teams and Defense won us the game. It was classic Beamerball, actually. Unless we develop some sort of offense, we will lose at least 2 more by the end of the season.

I'm missing that Wildcat offense. Where'd it go?

Ohk, why are yall dogging out our quarterback? anybody want to go out there and take his job? Go Jackets.

I could agree with this, but I would say Reggie Ball had a lot of ability. He just freaked out under pressure and that completely killed him(and us).

I thought Taylor played a good game. The receivers were awful, and after that one drive in the beginning where first someone dropped a first down yardage pass that hit him in the numbers, then someone didn't get to a catchable ball way downfield, we went away from the pass. Whether this is because the coaches doubted Taylor or the receivers, I don't know, but it is true.

Michael Vick. Kind of ironic to say this, but he was really underrated as a passer because of that.
