Following the victory~ I say CPJ starts lopping some of the hedges and sends the Urban Meyer family a "welcome to TECH" Christmas gift.

And here is my response to this thread.

I sense that we are a bit cocky thinking we will beat UGA. This was the same attitude we had in 2006 when we were 9-2. This is going to be a very very tough game for us in all facets. UGA is #13 in the country for good reason. Their two losses are against the #1, and #2 teams int he country. All three of our losses are against unranked opponents. Its time to get some perspective. I am optimisitic but essentially, I'm not throwing the season down the drain if we lose this game. I hope to win it, but quite frankly, don't expect it.

If we turn the ball over, we are toast. If we go fumble free, we may have a chance to win. Its going to take a great effort on our parts. Especially against a team with two weeks to prepare for us. the last team that had that much time whipped us 28-7.

Its typical of GT fans for some reason to automatically think we are world beaters after an impressive win like the one against Miami. Somehow all of our past problems were somehow miraculously solved. They are still there.

Not to sound like Chicken Little, but no one needs to be hanging this season on this game. Let the players and coaches do that. they've already exceeded most everyone's expectations.

Completely Agree BOR. That being said, here's a true story.

Was taking a 15 minute nap before I started on some assignments due tomorrow. And I started dreaming of the Georgia game, and in my dreams, Dwyer runs for a TD, next play MJ picks 6, Next play Dwyer runs for a TD. Then UGA scores a FG. We are up 21-3 in under 5 minutes...

Needless to say, as my alarm rang, I quickly turned it off and went back to sleep for another 2 hours...
