Who has the best chance of making a repeat appearance in the ACCCG this year?

I would rank them:

1) FSU - they have replaced their biggest weakness, OC, with an outstanding OC. That being said, their QB's have looked awful. Six should get you into the CG in the Atlantic. Five wins might do it. The Chest just might reintroduce some swagger to FSU. They have the talent in place to win

2) GT - We replace our most erratic player and return a ton of starters. Losing Calvin will be big, but having a QB who can use the middle of the field is bigger. VT comes here.

3) VT - Great defense, good offense. Most consistently good team in the ACC. I would have placed them at #2, but they come to Atlanta this year.

4) WF - the stars aligned for them last year and they seized their chance. I wish we could say the same.

FSU has a tough schedule. I think the winner of the GT/VT game goes back to Jax. I have no idea from the other division. Clemson gets FSU and BC at home.

I'd switch us and VT, but otherwise I agree. I wouldn't be suprised at all to see Miami win the Coastal, though.

My money is on the winner of GT/VT (and God willing it will be us) vs Clemson in Jax, they're bound to put it all together one of these years.

Losing Calvin will definitely not be a help to us this coming fall, but in reality, he didn't get used all that much anyway directlly. I had begun to think that just his mere presence on the field was to be a threat to the other team and help us open up somewhere else. I can't say if it did any good or not but he's gone now anyway.
Looks like we have some pretty fair replacements coming up now so we'll just wait and see.

WF lost their 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 6th leading tacklers - including the leadership of Abbate. They also lost their top two receivers. I don't see them returning to the same glory as last year.

UM lost too many players to mention. Barring catastrophes from both GT and VPI, they won't contend for the title game.

The winner of GT/VPI will be in the ACCCG.

FSU looks very likely to go to the ACCCG. Jimbo Fisher was a huge step up for them and I don't see anybody else in the Atlantic topping their talent. Clemson lost a ton last year (entire OL, QB, Gaines Adams, among others). Maybe NC State with O'Brien coaching, although I'm not sure what kind of talent they have. I see WF long term becoming the Northwestern of the ACC. Playing spoiler to some teams and occasionally making noise, but not really having the capacity to be a major player.

It would be very surprising if the GT/VPI game didn't decide the Coastal champion. UVA, with how young they were last year, probably has a better chance than UM of upsetting GT and VPI.

F$U will struggle next year too. You don't let Weak Florist SHUT YOU OUT and drop 30 on you at YOUR HOUSE and rebound so quickly.

Their problems are deeper than people realize. They can have a solid year but I think another team will be playing in the ACCCG from their division.

VT was probably the strongest team the 2nd half of the season but their performance against ugag also makes me wonder.

GT may be the strongest team in the ACC and we probably were the strongest team last year.

FSU has most of their best Defensive players sitting out this Spring with major injuries. They have a QB controversy, between a couple of mediocre 5 star players. A new offense may help them some, but I actually wish Tech played them this comming year.
