the funniest was, when Tech played Notre Dame here in Atlanta, there was a guy holding a sign that said "If the shocker doesnt rock her, use the Spock-er" and had a picture of Spock with his hand in salute as per norm. the tv kept going to that sign, and i was thinking "that tv guy must have no clue, he is thinking 'look at that nerd with the Star Trek reference, what a nerd' while he is showing the world how deviously clever this guy is"
