You guys got any good suggestions of really great PRO Georgia Tech places here in town to watch the game Sat night? It drives me crazy that in our own town I have trouble finding a bar with big screens that is the "Home of GT football!" If there is one, please tell me.

Everytime I go somewhere it won't be full of Tech fans and they will have something like Texas vs Noth Texas on the big screen.

Also...."From the stands" is not the answer I'm looking for.

And they need to serve good beer.

Don't know why you have trouble?
The best public viewing will likely occur at Rocky Mtn Pizza on 10th ST. down from the GT Police station.

The highest concentrations of Tech Alumni in the ATL are in North Fulton, North Dekalb, and Marietta/Vinings Cobb.

Given that demographic, I will assume that most TECHnically iclined folk will have an infinitely better setup at home than at any bar.

ESPNZone has one huge ass TV. I've never watched a Tech game there but if you could get there early enough to get a seat I bet it would be pretty wild.

Very true I think. Atlanta based Tech fans are usually at GF, or they stay near their own setup.

For the more socially active male, I have to believe the bar scene during an AU or ga game would be more productive.

Personally, I have never felt the need to go to a bar to watch a game I care about. In fact, it would be my last option.
Back when I could still run a 5.4 40 however, I could be seen at Jocks and Jill's on Roswell Rd when the stoopid uga girls showed. Of course Tech was not playing.
That was fun.

Unless I'm in the stands the only other place I prefer to watch a GT game is at home. I like to watch the game and listen to the GT broadcast and that is just not possible in a sports bar.

I watched the emerald bowl at FoxSports Bar & Grill at Atlantic Station. The place was packed. Several hundred GT fans. Great place to see a game, IMO...
