I'm about 70/30 going or not going to the game Saturday. If I come I will be bringing a couple I met when I moved here. They are passive Miami fans, have never been to a game, lost their house and jobs in the storm. They are currently living in a camper waiting for FEMA assistance. So I want to impress them and show them a good time. I want the skyline view from the seats (thinking north end zone or west sideline) but also want a good atmosphere (nobody telling me to sit down, want to be in the crowd noise, ect) I have sat all over BDS, but what do you guys think?

Edit:I’ve narrowed it down to the little lower section of 213 or 111

Below the walkway in the UN is best seats in the stadium

I sit in 111. Not the best for viewing of course, but good fans, easy in and out from gate, good concessions and bathrooms are close. Players family and former players sit in 110 next door.

So like row 1 in section 213 would be that area? How’s the atmosphere there?

My seats are Section 214. If you are in the rows below the walkway (1-7 I believe) or in the the first few immediately after (8-12) atmosphere is fine. If you go much higher you get into visiting fans/empty seats/seating giveaways...the only negative for me being up there is you lose the feel of the band and student section. And you melt in Sept/Oct noon kickoffs... But you get a great view of the offense when it is running well, plus atl skyline at night is nice...Please go and support!

Lower rows of upper east are the best football seats in all of the sport. There is no better game view than those seats. The fans are generally fine in that area unless you find yourself in a sec 223 dick measuring contest.

You do miss the skyline.
The concourse and concession area is a dump for those seats too, but it’s worth the trade off for how good the seats are.

I've always enjoyed 218. You can get in the lower part of it and its almost like being in lower level, still get a good skyline view etc.

The top row of that bottom section of 218/219 is one of my favorites. Nobody behind you to tell you to sit (although I've never had anybody tell me to sit when in 218). There's a chain link fence right behind you that you can lean on. I don't know what row # it is though. @JJacket may can help you with that, he's a 218 regular. 1st row of the top part of 218 is good too because the walkway is under you so nothing blocks your view.

The top row... Nobody behind you to tell you to sit

This is what I'm thinking for next season. Tired of the grumpy old folks behind me getting mad when I stand up for 3rd downs.

Anybody have any experience with sitting in the top row of the lower level?

I'm in Upper North and enjoy it. I used to be in 214/215 area so I could see from the center of the field and that sight line is great. It's hard to hear the band there, though, (can't see them at all, either) and that's important to me. I'm now in 211 near the edge. Still great sight lines (including skyline) and I can see and hear the band well from there.

If you want a great skyline view, you do not want to be in the Upper North. From Upper West, you can see all of midtown and the same downtown view you have in Upper North. And the fans will be of higher quality if you know what I mean.

The north half of the West gives you the best view of downtown, so anything from 209 down to 205 maybe?

According to the seat map on ramblinwreck.com, row 22 is the top row of the lower section 218/219. It shows 23 rows but I believe the 23rd row is the handicap accessible seats. Any of the other UN sections, row 5 would be top row right below the fence where the walkway split is. Row 5 of 210 looks like it would be pretty good. It's a very small section.

Are you coming to the tailgate? If you're coming to the tailgate, it won't matter where your seats are. You'll just wake up somewhere in the stadium. I can't promise your miami friends are gonna be there when you wake up.

Agreed, also the last few rows in the club level are pretty good too, but upper easy first few rows have the best view.
