I think you are right, and in a strange way, Saban is destroying, or at least degrading the entire conference. Someday Saban will be gone, leaving a shell of the old league.They’ll get the new hot up and coming variation of Derek Dooley. As long as Saban is in the league, the SEC will be a revolving door.
