Big ACC games @ noon.

1)If Florida St(5-1) is to stay in the national picture, they must W today @ Miami(5-0). If FSU loses they will fall to the mid teens in the rankings, even tho both loses will have been on the road to a decent team & a powerhouse. Can't see the Noles beating the Canes, but believe they'll keep it to a TD or less.
2)The Clemson(3-2,1-1) @ Virginia(4-2,2-1) game will effectively take 1 team out of the conference running. One team will fall to 3 losses & have 2 losses in ACC. Huge game for Bowls. Both have lost to FSU & both still have NC St. Cavaliers have W 4 in-a-row & the thinking here is that they eke out a 27-24 W over the Tigers.
3)If NC St(6-0,1-0) loses @ NCarolina(2-3,0-1) the bottom will drop out of their ranking. NCar could get back in the Bowl picture, but a loss with FSU & Clem left, would knock them to the bottom part of the ACC. This rivalry is getting mean & it should be played as their last game. NC St will W, but by a FG or less.
4)If Wake Forest(3-3,1-2) is to have any Bowl aspirations they must W hosting Duke(2-4,0-2). The Deacons are a scary team on the ground & will chew up Duke by more than 3 TDs. WF could still pull themselves back to the upper half of the ACC.

That's eerie, almost uncanny.
NC St actually has a chance for some very big Bowls. What a shootout this is gonna be with FSU, NC St, Virginia & Ga Tech. Could be a whole lotta fun with a whole lotta shakin going on!
