Rivals says we have over 100 people set to visit. The only ones i know that are coming are Izaan Cross, Daniel Drummond, Conner Shaw, Jonathan Davis, Ricky Ayers( acoording to the AJC), David Sims, Roderick Sweeting and JC Lanier. Anybody else know who is coming? Also i dont think Jordan Luallen will be able to attend the game since he lives so far away and his team is still in the playoffs. Same goes for Jeremy Moore.

Thanks for the "heads up".

Hopefully, we will have a great crowd and our Jackets whip the Canes! :fingersx:

Pardon my forgetfulness, but Luallen has committed to us so far, correct?

I believe Thursday nights in our place is one of the great setting in all of CFB but I am biased.

There's no bias there. As I understand it, we're a favorite of the Thursday night crew and we get nothing but compliments and high regard for how nice a setting we are for a Thursday night game.

It's all been said a million times, but there's something a little more special about a big game in the middle of a bustling city on a Thursday night. My first one was Maryland in 2001 and even though the outcome had me standing on a ledge later that evening, I fell in love with Thursdays.

Jonathan Davis is not coming....neither is Cross or Shaw.

The game environment is great but tailgating sucks.

Works for me. I'm without a tailgate or tailgating group of my own so I just hit up the Varsity before I head across the bridge.
I don't have class Thursday...setting up in the old VL lot about noon for some of this: :drinking:

Hopefully he will think less of the U, once we hang about 35 on them.

Davis does not have an offer from Miami.

I am not even sure he has an offer from us still.

He does have SC, UAB, and Ctl Florida though.

If you have friends it doesn't!

We do, uh, pay 'friends' to come be our friend.

Serioiusly, the campus is a mess with folks leaving at the end of a day. Parking is more difficult. There is very little tailgating in comparison to a 3:30 game and accordingly, the campus excitement is not as high.

However, the game itself is a blast (minus the cold).

So reading between the lines, it doesn't sound like Davis and Tech are going to be a match?
