Big Shout Out to Nate Mccollum!

These young men need a competent MAN to help them be their best.

Geoff Collins is doing a disservice to these guys. He should have been gone last year.

I have never hated a "coach" so much, and he should never be or have been considered one.

It sucks these guys have limited eligibility, I really hate it for these guys that their college careers have been wasted by this clown.
Hardly a waste (for almost all of them) despite the on-field results.

True for the education aspect, but their athletic careers have been squandered by this clown. Tech should give them a chance to prosper on the field as well as off and we see what's going on during the games, they'd be better served if clown wasn't ever part of this program.

You think for a lot of them that they could have gone to a better university for them, if the NFL was never going to be an option? We agree on Collins but I’m not sure we agree on our roster level.

Collins came in with a plan. Make Tech great through his recruiting message and build great classes. He was in over his head when it came to actually coaching them.

I think they expected better and Tech should have pulled the trigger earlier and not taken away another year of a game they've played for most of their lives.collins with Tech's backing had to have promised them more than the putrid excuse of football we are seeing.

I don't really get your disagreement here, Tech should have done better by these young men by not keeping this clown around and Tech continues wasting their athletic careers by keeping the clown around.

Legitimately the best football play I've ever seen. Really glad I got to see it live. Didn't even realize he had caused the fumble until the replay on the big board.

The amount of effort in what looked like, and really should have been, a surefire touchdown was insane. He could have given up and no one even would have called it giving up because the play was a foregone conclusion.

Just wish it could have been during a season that meant something.

Well, have I got a game for you!

You get to see a great hustle play, a win, and during a season that mattered.

You’re welcome.

Actually, to me, Nate's play today is maybe more impressive to do it during a bad season. Most people, in those cases, (including myself) would have said, "F--- it, what's the use." Nate wasn't going to give up on his team despite all that is going wrong. The young man showed a great deal of character on that one play.

GO JACKETS!

Nate is one of our only players that moves with confidence on the field. Plays hard and is talented too. Hopefully he survives the coaching transition; I’m sure whomever wears the headset next would love to have him.

Yeah, he should already have feelers out as to where he should play next year. He deserves better than what he has dealt with and having to start over. We’ll have an entire new staff and QB so he deserves to play somewhere that gives him a chance to be seen next year. I’ll still root for him.
