Big ups to GT's All-State selections

Nick McRae & TJ Pridemore were named 1st team All-State AA & Kamaron Riley was picked 1st team A. Jaybo Shaw got tabbed as Honorable Mention AAA.
For some strange reason Tech's highest rated Georgia recruit by Rivals.com, Steven Sylvester, didn't get picked for the All-State teams. Neither did Cooper Taylor.

...and Sylvester is our top defensive recruit for this year...he is a HUGE get. High school all-state rankings are typically left up to the high school coach for promoting the heck out of their players unfortunately.

No worries...Sylvester will be at least a 2-year starter on the Flats...if not 3.

I've seen Taylor play and the reason he's not All State is because there are easily 3 or 4 QB's and DB's better than him in AAAA. He's a reasonably athletic kid but I think his dad's legacy has much to do with our scholly offer as Kevin Butler's did to get his son Drew a scholly at ugag.

Syl may be great but I would rather trust the coaches voting rather than sprtswriters.
