There are several big time in conference match-ups this weekend...

To Name a Few...
Clemson @ #21 Wake
#5 Texas @ #1 Oklahoma
17 OK St. @ #3 Miss.
#5 LSU @ #11 UF
#6 Penn St. @ Wisconsin
Nebraska @ #7 T Tech
Az St @ #8 USC
UTenn @ #10 UGA
#13 Vandy @ Miss St.
Notre Dame @ #22 UNC

What who should be on "upset alert"? Bold games are my picks..

Also, do they have a corny name for this week's games yet?

You havent answered my message i sent you about those stickers.

Do you really have them or is that a joke?
I want one! :fingersx:

North Carolina and Notre Dame fans together in one stadium? God almighty. The game takes a back seat to the snob matchup.

I knew sooner or later the Big 12 teams would face teams with winning records.:wow:

I actually sort of hate that I won't be able to switch between UNC/ND and UGAg/UT.

If all goes right, I'd like to come home from a second thrashing of the Bulldogs (Part two in a series of three) to catch some highlights of an ACC school toppling Notre Dame and then crack an American Ale and watch Tennessee (hopefully) upset the mutts.

But the rest of those games look like a lot of fun anyway. I'm looking for Vanderbilt to destroy Mississippi State and hopefully be flying high for their bout in Athens. I'd also like to see Oklahoma manhandle Texas for the sake of keeping some stability in the top couple of spots.

For the Clemson-Wake game, we might see Clemson begin to implode for the last time under Bowden if they get blown out by Wake like I think they will. I don't know if that bodes well for us or not next week considering their habit to bail Tommy out at exactly the right moment, but I expect it will be much harder against us since we're a whole new ball club.

I'll be keeping an eye on the Texas Tech game as well. I had picked them to be knocked off by Kansas State last week and they did no such thing. They've been a sleeper for a while I guess, but they may be the real deal this year. For pure entertainment's sake, I wouldn't min seeing them as a fresh face in the National Championship picture late in the season.

LSU should dominate Florida, it's probably time that Missouri came back down to Earth and Arizona State ought to get whalloped.

The following week is bigger for Tech fans. Jackets at Clemson and VT starts their two loseable ACC games against Boston College and FSU. If Tech wins on the 18th and VT loses to BC our chance of winning the division would take a big turn in our favor.

I will be pulling for Vandy all season, and as far as UNC is concerned, we will win that game, so VT losing will only go in our favor.

So if Vandy wins the SEC, will the SEC be "down?"

:)

Seriously, I'm happy that Vandy might get a bowl this year, but they don't have a prayer of any more than 8 wins.
