Georgia Tech -- DB Ahmari Harvey: GT has several options for potential instant-impact transfers, but the Yellow Jackets need a safety and Harvey's blue-chip past bring him into the spotlight. Harvey and former Notre Dame safety Khari Gee will both have a chance to raise the level of play in a secondary that struggled with communication and consistency last season. Another name to note is quarterback Zach Gibson, who transferred in from Akron. Gibson took part in spring ball and provides depth and/or competition for incumbent starter Jeff Sims.

He will prevail because Coach Dumbass won't admit he picked the wrong guy. Bring in whomever, Sims stays healthy, Sims keeps playing.

Last year definitely but not so sure this year. Long and Weinke are no fools. We’ll find out regardless.

I think it might be the Clemson QB. However I will be excited if it is the DB Harvey, as our secondary has been trash. I guess it can't get an worse and we have missed on a bunch or transfers thus far. Go Jackets!

If the opposing QB throws the ball, it is ours. One of our DB's gonna snag it.

You could be right, TP may wipe the offense free from interceptions and turnovers.

Still have the Thacker problem.
I am frustrated with Thacker as well.
Consolidating the defensive backfield under one coach, Tillman, should help. Just think of all the drive extending and big pass plays we gave up over the past few years. Eliminating half of those SNAFUs could've had an impact on our W/L record.
Not sure if this will translate into more wins in '22 but I have to find something to give me hope going into the season.
