I noticed this link in one of the other threads earlier so I checked it out for myself.

Let me first say again, I am a fan of Bill Curry and I take every opportunity to read what he writes and hear what he says.

No, Bill Curry is not God but I will say that he has much wisdom that could be shared with many people of which these people would benefit greatly.

Please read his article in the link below and see how you feel about it.

I agree with just about all of it except in the last one of his notes, #4-Lethal Few; I'm not too sure these trouble makers shouldn't simply be terminally expelled from the school.

If I were the president of these schools, someone would have to do a real sales job on me to let them stay on as students.

I don't see how any college/university can afford to carry such liable people on their roles.

Read it and see what you think.

I read the article this morning and agreed with most everything Bill Curry had to say. After watching sportscenter this evening and hearing some other opinions, Miami just looks ridiculous for not coming down harder on the individual that swung his helmet and the other(s) who were actually stomping on players who were on the ground.

I am of the opinion that Miami is still Miami, the Miami I've known from the mid-80's forward. The President of the University doesn't get it either. The University, as well as the ACC IMO, have blown it here, for the repremands handed down were nowhere near as severe as they needed to be.

FWIW, I think this comes down to money. If Miami comes down too hard, they simply won't generate the kind of cash they need to pay off the BE and ACC and keep their athletic department afloat. The really sad thing is that many Miami "fans" couldn't care less that there is an actual university associated with the football team. I'm not saying the tail wags the dog, because the school fulfills it's mission. But from a football standpoint they might as well be in the NFL as far as their supporters are concerned.

And unfortunately for a man of Bill Curry's conviction, he knows that a few bricks can be tossed your way by a few foolhardy fans that felt a co-SEC championship wasn't good enough for their program.

I have yet to pull for Alabama in anything since that incident.

Curry is still the heir apparent but Clough was too pussy.

BC would've been pounding on WC's door every a.m. until we got it right.

Rad is an excellent hire but never underestimate the force that is Bill.

We dodged a bullet.
