Would he bail on Boise like Brian Kelley? He has done a ton with Boise....

There are a ton of openings this year....where do you think he will end up when/if he leaves?

I don't see going from Boise to TT as a good move. What would be the point?

I don't think TT is a good fit for him. If he were to leave Boise I could see him land at a program that has the following characteristics:
1. recruiting hotbed
2. established program in the midst of some uncertainty
3. in one of the 'big 6' conferences

Of the possible teams that could possibly fit this criteria, assuming they have poor/mediocre years next year: UGA, Miami, UCLA.

Even though, according to the announcers (so no idea if this has any credibility), he doesn't recruit speed but rather smart sound football players. That might be a problem to the fan bases of UGA and Miami (and not sure what the UCLA fan base is really like).

Texas Tech can play for a national title. Boise State never will.

If Boise/TCU and those types want to play for it they ought to take the best teams from their two conferences and make one good conference. That conference would be at least as good as the Big East.

I don't see him leaving. The elite programs are too scared to take the risk, and he's not going to leave for a mid-tier BCS program. It would probably have to be a top west coast job like USC or UW.

Boise has a shot to play for the title next year. They have two BCS schools on the schedule and will likely start in the top 10.

The two Utah teams and TCU would destroy a big east schedule.. If BSU would join Mountain West, that would make it a better conference than the Big East.

Only a desperate jackass would take the Texas Tech job when there are other, nearly equivalent, BCS conference jobs that will be opening up in the next few years.
