I don't really see much humor in your post if it's injury related.
 
Its probably just selective memory, but does it seem like theres more injuries on average this year than recent ones? Seems like everyone is missing 2+ starters each week.
 
I've never understood why people get so happy about an injury. If players on the other team have to get hurt for your team to win, you're NOT the better team. I don't think anyone else on this board is going to join in on your celebration.

PLUS, Georgiadogs.com states he's only missing this game as of now. An MRI has not even been performed yet. Where are you getting this news?
 
AJC likely says out for the season, injury to right knee I think, take it for what its worth

GTWannabee, I disagree. Injuries ARE a part of the game. You have to play the game with the people you have THAT DAY.

As for Brandon, I wish him speedy recovery that allows him to come back to full strength.....4 days AFTER Thanksgiving!!!

Injuries are a part of the game, but if you can't beat a team when it's healthy, how can you be the better team? It then comes down to "luck" that a valuable player got hurt. You're then not the better team. You're just the healthier team.

Suspensions are the result of a team imploding. THAT can be avoided. Injuries cannot. I do laugh at suspensions. How often do we have suspended players? I know of the one last year for criminal charges (note that he was not convicted during his suspension), but how many others have we had?

BTW, anyone know what ever came of the charges?

I hate that this has happened whether due to injury or suspension, etc. When GT beats UGA's uhuh this year, I want UGA to be in their best trim cause I don't want to hear a bunch of dogs whinning over whether we would have beaten them with their better players.

I want to beat the best they have and beat them soundly. I would really like to see RM-2's idea at work where we meet them on the first play from scrimmage and bust their face right off the bat.

We don't want to make a trip over to the far country to beat their back ups, we want their best !!!!

Take that to the bank.

Sounds to me like you're being a little too picky. Lets beat UGA at all first.
 
What if the player injures himself while committing a suspendable act like dislocating his shoulder while throwing his mom down a staircase or setting his head on fire while lighting up his crack pipe? Is that funny?

Could be but I don't think so.

I would much rather our seniors leave GT knowing that they had beaten the best UGA had to offer instead of knowing the only reason we won was because UGA could not stick their best foot on the field.

I'll just stay picky if that's the case. I want our guys to wear a "W" with pride.

BTW, Saturday is the 90th anniversary of our 222-0 win over Cumberland in 1916, but their kicker was gimpy.
