Stinger, shut up and show some respect. Boss Ross won an NC for GT and was a Great Coach for us. Despite O'Leary's decision to leave GT and the issues that followed, he did a fine job on the flats as well. Both of those men did far more for GT than you, me and the rest of this board put together has ever done.

Sometimes you say the most idiotic crap.

I'll pull for Boss Ross at Army any day of the week he's not playing GT, and I personally wish O'Leary well as long as its not at GT's expense

I have nothing but respect for Bobby Ross, the man who brought GT a NC then went to the NFL and took the San Diego Chargers to the franchise only Super Bowl appearance.

George O'Leary went 52-33 in his 7 years at GT, finishing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in 4 of those years. He turned UCF around from 0-11 to 8-4 and a spot in the Conference-USA championship game.

I always hope that both do well from season-to-season.

I watched some of both games and pulled for our former mentors. I'd love to have them both back at TECH w/ a heapin' hepin' of ole Ralph. Not saying that I'm not pullin' for Chan but great coaches that have passed our way.

Curry AD. Chan HC. Ralph OC. George DC/Tenuta/DB. Ross ST. Who else? Pony up the cash, Clough. Mean, tough men that know something about college football that have passed TECH's way.

We could build a dynasty here but no one's interested.


I hope we get LSU in the Peach.

with Curry as AD, we would not need that kind of staff to compete with the Southern Conference. It would be a matter of how long we survive all the pontificating and revenue loss from schlocking old North American Thrift Notes.

You are correct, pocket. Losing to them every year sorta puts a downer on things, at the least.

Attendance is up and season ticket sales are up. Our worst home game this year was UConn with attendance over 48,000. In O'Leary's last 2 seasons we drew 36,000 for Duke and 40,000 for Maryland. How is that more excitement than now?
