Anyone have any additional info on bowl games and possibilities. Most of what I have read this morning puts us:
1. Peach against South Carolina

2. Champs against Nebraska

3. Music City against Northwestern

I would like to see Peach against Florida myself, just being selfish!

I don't know where GT will go but I believe Clemson will go to Charlotte, BC to the Peach or to Orlando, I hope NCST goes to Boise, UVa to Music City or Orlando, Miami to Gator or Peach (vs Fla), VPI to Orange, FSU because of their following has got to figure in the mix...someone isn't gonna be happy. When can bids be given?

I wouldn't be upset with music city. My wife's family is up there so I could go to the game and let her visit her mother. That way, we both win!

I heard Wes say to get ready to play (freakin') Minnesota in the Hee-Haw Bowl in Nashville.
So dissapointing versus what we could have had.

I prefer the Gator, but Nashville is pretty nice. Very similiar to Atlanta or Charlotte, just a little bit smaller. Nice enough for Nissan to announce they are moving their North American headquarters there next year. I don't think insulting them or the bowl is necessary. You know, you don't HAVE to go to or watch the game if you don't want.

I will be there with the Jackets for the whipping of the yankee school they put against us.

Now who is with me?

JJ,
of course I will be watching it. I realize my comment is insulting to this post season game. I'm just bitter about Tech having to settle for less than what they were playing for. If beating uga gave us a ticket to Nashville, I would be thrilled.
If the Gator Bowl was the consolation game, I would be as bitter. Ask Miami how they feel about the Peach or Gator game.
I have nothing against Nashville as a good town, and I know they will show our guys a good time.

I understand your frustration. We really had that game last night and flittered it away. As my dad always says "Damn UGA LUCK!". Beaten statistically and they still find a way to beat us - or us beat ourselves. Of course, the stats won't matter, they'll still claim dominance over us.

Of course, Miami fans are just awful during a loss to anyone. They are shocked that the mighty U could have lost a game to whoever since everyone is beneath them. The facts are: Miami and FSU's dominance over football is over. Better players every year are coming out of HS, evening things up a bit for everyone.
