Still one game left between the SEC (6-5) and the Big 12 (2-6). UGA is anywhere from a 12-14.5 point favorite.

The MAC outperformed. The Big 12 underperformed although they have a rep in the championship game (Go Frogs!).

Otherwise it would seem there is something converging on parity. Not much separation. The ACC did well.

Thoughts?
 
The primary non CFP game I was interested in was Clemson/Tennessee. I wanted UT to win and they did - UT, I think, can step up and offer a challenge to UGA in the SEC East. Since we play them every year, and the Coastal is no more, CU needs to drop back down a notch or two because we are going to have to start beating them again.
 
ACC did better than they normally do; in addition to the record no one really got WVU-Clemson'd.
It kind of feels like SEC under-performed some, though numbers probably wouldn't back that up. Top part was normal but the lower orders got slapped around some.
 
SEC bowl records the last 9 years: 7-3 in 2013, 7-5 in 2014, 7-2 in 2015, 6-6 in 2016, 4-5 in 2017, 6-5 in 2018, 7-2 in 2019, 6-2 in 2020, 5-7 in 2021, and 6-5 in 2022. Conference-wide they are often not the juggernaut they are portrayed to be. Good, but not terribly dominant in bowl season, though they do have some very good ones from time to time.
 
Big12 is in the national title game. I think they have to put weights on these bowl games to make an accurate comparison. And only 6 bowl teams from MAC.
