Bowls confuse me greatly.

Which are we most likely going to?

Also, what do we use the money we make for? Scholarships?

Best case scenario? worst?

Bowl money pays expenses for attending the bowl, and the rest is split equally among the conference teams. The bowl you go to doesn't matter as far as how much money you make. The teams do get higher travel allowances for better bowls, so that means better perks if you go to a better bowl.

So there is no advantage to getting into a better bowl money-wise? The players just get better food? (Which I am fine with, I want JD, Roddy, Nesbitt, etc to eat like kings.)

I think there is a bonus for getting a BCS at-large bid. Otherwise, what you said.

Does a later bowl allow us to have more practice time? Or does every team have the same amount of practice time? Not saying our team needs practice, but especially for the youngsters and redshirts for next year, the more practice the better. So does a later bowl allow us to have more practice time?

Being in a better bowl is also about exposure to potential recruits. I assume these numbers are correct

007-08 Results: Attendance) & [Household Impressions]:
Chick-Fil-A Bowl: Auburn 23, Clemson 20 (OT), ESPN: 74,413) & [4,919,331]
Konica Minolta Gator Bowl: Texas Tech 31, Virginia 28, CBS: 60,243) & [2,960,799]

Now I know ratings are a function of which teams are playing but a 2 million household advantage to me also says that there is some inherent advantage, ratings wise, for playing in the Peach rather than the Gator

Almost 100% sure that every team gets a certain number of days they can practice, just like in the spring and preseason.

Thanks, NC. I was not sure about that. thought that may be the case, but was hopeful that a later bowl may add some practice time. Oh well. Again, NOT saying our team sucks and needs practice, but especially in the first years of a new offense -- the more practice the better, imo.
