Have you guys seen that Brandon Thompson is set to visit for the Clemson game on the 29th of September? Most feel that the battle for Brandon is between Tech and Clemson and now he is going to visit for that game. This game will be important, not just from a stand point of ACC wins and loses, a good inter-conference rivalry, or revenge from last season, we will need to make a good impression on a very good football player that can tremendously help our team for several years. Brandon Leslie and possibly Robert Golden will also be at this game. We need to win this game and we need to make these kids go back home feeling like Yellow Jackets. I won’t hold my breath, but I hope that the Clemson game is played that evening. Bobby Dodd is always electric at night. Do the recruits still walk Yellow Jacket Alley prior to home games with the team? If so, we need to make signs and raucously let these kids know that we are aware that they are there and that we want them in White and Gold.

You with me?

Yes, the recruits participate in Yellow Jacket Alley. Many of the guys from last year's class walked several times. Logan Walls and Kyle Jackson were seen several times.

And on the official visit when most of the guys were there - fans did make signs.

I hate seeing quotes like this:

"There's no need to rush it this week with Boston College coming next week."

I'm sure UM had Oregon on the brain too. Just saying...

Sorry, I misinterpreted your post.

This sounds like something that folks on The Hive would write.

Did you even read the original post? I am talking about visiting recruits. I am not analyzing the Clemson game.

The funny thing is that you mention rushing to talk about the Clemson game. However, you mentioned BC in your post. My schedule says that we play Samford before we play BC.
I think he's talking about Rashaun Grant's quote from the AJC. As someone else said, "Appalachian State would be overlooking Samford". ASU is a multiple time D1-AA champion. Samford is a doormat in D1-AA.

If Grant had the same quote about Army or Duke, I'd be a little more concerned.
