Brian Johnson\'s move to TE should work fine.

With Heller & Lee graduating, it will leave a hole at TE, especially spring practice. Foshi is playing a lot of fullback. We'll need the TE's coming along as we run several power formations with a fullback & 2 TEs.
Foshi will be a Sr, Darius Williams a RSo, & George Cooper a RFr. Johnson will add another RSo to the mix. Williams & Cooper are unproven, but Cooper seems to have the 'big time' talent.
With Foshi handling most of the fullback duties & RSo Jimmy Dixon & Jonathon Jackson also getting playing time, there was not much room for Johnson @ the FB position. Besides, it will be easy for Johnson to move back to FB, if needed, as a Jr or Sr. This move should be a benefit to Brian & the team.

I liked him better as the lead singer for AC/DC...

Not to be negative but there really is no reason to think that a guy who hasn't played a position is going to do "FINE" on switching after making no impact at the original position.
We just didn't recruit a real fullback and the TE position will soon be needy also is the real situation more likely..

Well, let's look at some recent swithches. Reilly from DL to C, excellent. Hollings from DB to RB, excellent. Clinkscale from WR to RB, excellent. Foshi from TE to FB, excellent. G Johnson from FB to DT, fine. Logan from QB to WR, fine. Green from S to OLB, will be fine when he takes over for Wimbush next season.
There's absolutely no reason NOT to think it'll be fine.

Of course, we can only guess from our view of the athletes, but the smartest moves a coach can make is to get the right athletes in the right positions on a team.

The smartest coach will get the ultimate efficiency out of each player's individual talent.

Brian Johnson played FB, TE, LB, and DE in high school.
