Well at least I can see a path towards a better 2016...

1. Marcus Marshall - vision and speed. he's gonna be a good one.
2. Ricky Jeune- he may not be Bey Bey but he'll be good. Great hands.
3. Brant Mitchell- our next Keith Brooking?
 
AJ Gray is a player. I think we can all see Vic Alexander as a big timer in the future as well.
 
Finally a positive thread. Mitchell is going to be a beast as will Marshall and Jeune. I would add AJ Gray to your list as well.

I think the one concerning point, and I agree with all the players highlighted, is I see no young DL or OL on this list. I think these are our weakest areas, among many.
 
We could still by some miracle pull one game out of our ass and beat georgia

Disagree. Kyle Cerge-Henderson has impressed me on the D-line and Brant Mitchell has shown a lot of hustle at LB. on the O-Line, Will Bryan will be a good one.

Serious? Bryan I heard looked god awful yesterday and I haven't seen Henderson's name show up much. You may be right but I will have to see the proof in the pudding. Can't disagree about Mitchell but he does not play DL.
 
Who is going to replace gostis? We all saw what happen when he was removed from the field.

Our freshman are great. I'm very excited about the future of the program with these guys. I just wish all of them didn't have to be thrown into the fire all at once.
 
Hard to say outside of being hopeful. I'd like to think that the amount of experience the younger guys are getting/will get is going to pay dividends in the next couple of years. But at some point that experience has to be in support of actual talent, otherwise you're just a player with a wealth of experience in getting your dick knocked in the dirt. Some of them are going to be backup players behind younger guys regardless so the big gain will hopefully be increased depth since it's unlikely that being thrown into the fire will cause many of them to ignite into stars.

This is going to be a process and a long one. If you're a Tech fan without patience or an appreciation for development and building, you're probably not going to enjoy much of the next year or two.

True. And if last year is any indication, all we need is one guy to step up and be special and suddenly the rest of the line turns into world-beaters. And there's some merit to that concept even outside of the hyperbole, on both sides of the line. Get one guy who is especially dangerous, a threat to wreak havoc in the backfield on every play or who has a keen nose for the ball on runs, and it puts the rest of a less-talented line in better position to make plays. Trouble is, as you said, we don't seem to have anyone right now who looks like they can become that guy.
 
I'm proud to say that I was the FIRST one to make a bright side thread several weeks ago, and now all of you copy cats just duplicate it each week.
 
I actually think we have a lot of freshman talent and I am optimistic about next year. Yeah we lose a lot of the D and the o-line but they haven't been that good anyway. I also forgot to mention the two frosh WR's we have, Howell and Philpott. I know Stewart is plating now but the best two other guys are tall and have raw speed.
 
Did I mention, it was after the Pitt game we would run the table? Why not?! Bring on FSU.
