I take delight in the inbreeding... er, I mean, infighting on the various Dawg boards. I haven't even lurked on a Dawg board since the eve of 7-51.

The wailing and gnashing of teeth is music to my ears. Years ago I used to engage in pre-game smack talk and post game sportsmanship.

But no more. I have no desire to be a good sport anymore.
 
I wonder if this starts the fall of the House of Richt. There were some people upset with him before this game. Losing at home, on Senior Day, on Munson Day after a commanding half time lead will do nothing to silence those morons.

They are truly howling about their lack of a home-field advantage. They have really laid a collective egg in their majority of their big home games the last 3-4 years.
 
I get a sense they really love Big Willie Martinez. Might even get a contract extension.

I guess their Willie couldn't measure up to our Johnson.

Agreed, they have been sort of frustrated with richt, because even though he is a good coach, he always has one or two losses a year that put them out of NC consideration. And tech should win the next two years, seeing most of our starters are freshmen/sophomores.
 
I've enjoyed reading the Dawg fans saying that they didn't bring their A game...

We certainly didn't have our A game on defense, but still managed to win.

I STILL say that despite this loss to us, Saint Richt is the New VD. Which is to say that if he can still keep producing 9+ win seasons, his tenure is safe. Additional losses to us will certainly irk some of the fanbase, but if he can balance it with an odd win over UF here and there, he won't be going anywhere for a while.

VD was what, 19-6 against us? Right now SMR is 7-1. Let's check back when it's 7-7.
