Weakest nomination group since 2006. I can't hate on the decision because of how bad the choices were, but my vote would have gone to Hutchinson who in my opinion is the best player in college football. You can't convince me that Young is the best player on his own team, let alone the country.

I don't know about that. I think Pickett is a fine QB, but so is Young. Pickett looked better than Young but played against far worse competition. Young looked good, not great, but against the best competition in the country. Neither of them are the player that Hutchinson is, IMHO.

I get that, but Pickett also had far less talent to support him. He pretty much was running a one man show.
