I didn't see this so I thought I would pass it along. Starting left guard Tanner Strickland is out for 2009 with a shoulder injury that requires surgery. The OL is their strength this year and they can't afford to lose many starters. I don't wish injury on anyone but we went through the same thing the last couple of seasons and it hurt us in some games.

I'd like to see their players arrested more than injured, though one less starter is one less starter I suppose.
 
I feel for those who get injured. I do not feel for those that get arrested. Even if we are die hard GT fans, these kids work their ***es off for the fans (rednecks, if UGA) and I wish him the best recovery.
 
Strickland is not a starter, the AJC gets Tech and UGA facts wrong all the time. However, this does impact overall depth.
