Haven't seen this in any article or post.

On GT Hotline following Wednesday's practice (Was later being posted) Gailey said Burnett "looked better today" and is ready to go on Saturday. "Now all we have to do is get Luke back," says Coach Gailey. He's 99% sure but not positive that Luke will not be able to help in long kicks, kickoffs and log field goals, but thinks he could be ready for PATs and short field goals. Coach sounded like it was a wait and see with Luke, but sounds like he could play in some situations. Glad Burnett sounds ready to go.

As of end of practice Wednesday things sound much better for out kicking game.

I say we not attempt any field goals for this game. Either punt or go for it on 4th down if a field goal type situation arises.

Very good news. Was really wondering on Mon-Tues what the heck we were gonna do. The coaching staff wants Jordan to be THE MAN on place kicks for the next 4 yrs & sure doesn't want to burn his rs yr in Manget's Sr season.

I remember an NFL game either last year or the year before, and I think it was the Rams vs Falcons.

Their kicker got hurt, and they didn't carry a backup. So the let their punter kickoff, and they didn't try field goals. They went for it on 4th every time if it was too short to punt. When they scored, they simply went for 2 every time. As I recall, they got the 2 every time but once, and it worked out nicely.
